VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
AUGUST 2 – 7, 2009
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We need station leaders, bayou crew leaders and more.
VBS Director: Charlene Golden, 369-1433
STATION LEADERS: We have one area left to fill.
Bible Bayou Leader: Lead children through some incredible and fun interactive skits and learning activities that really make the Bible stories come alive.
STATION ASSISTANTS: Help the station leaders. Specify which area you are interested in helping a station leader.
BAYOU CREW LEADERS: Lead their group of kids from activity to activity. Assist the station leaders. Build relationships with their kids.
BAYOU DECORATORS AND SCENE MAKERS: We have a decorating DVD to give station leaders and others who want to help change our church into a bayou for the week.
DO YOU SEW? You can help prepare fleece turtles for the children to stuff as their mission project. The information and instructions are on the VBS table in the Narthex. We will also need several people to sew the turtles closed on August 6th during the craft time for each group.
Our first VBS meeting will be in early July after the Celebrate Jesus activities in June.
Station Leaders may hold meetings with your group at any time.

(Let Charlene, in the church office, know if you plan to let us borrow one of these items. We won’t need them until late July. Please put your name on your item so we can return it to you after VBS)
Sponsor a child for $25.
This covers an iron-on transfer for a T-shirt they provide, workbook, snacks, and VBS Bible memory buddies.
